EXPLANATION

This menu is used to select a window from the currently active windows. Floating windows are not displayed in the list, however. The menu items provide the standard window selection functions of the OS used. Thus, in case of Windows, for example, the active windows are added to the window menu list displayed at the bottom of the menu rather than within the actual menu.
