Abstract
This page explains how to download and install the MacOSX version of the COSMOS installer.

Open the GLOBALBASE Website
(http://www.globalbase.org). Then, click the links marked with red circles in
Fig.(01) to
Fig.(04) in succession.

The COSMOS download page
Fig.(05) appears. In this page, you can find COSMOS installers for MacOSX as well as for other architectures; look for the download area entitled gbs-client-carbon.

The page shown in
Fig.(06) lists various installers of COSMOS for MacOSX under the title gbs-client-carbon, arranged from the newest to oldest versions; click the newest version.

Then, the mirror site shown in
Fig.(07) is accessed.

Click an appropriate mirror site; a dialog like the one shown in
Fig.(08) opens. Save the installer in an appropriate folder.

[Step 4] Software Registration
Fig.(09) shows the status where the installer has been saved. In case of installers of ver.B.b16.05 or earlier, double-click COSMOS.zip to create the COSMOS executable file as shown in
Fig.(10) . Move this file to an appropriate folder such as Applications and register it in the dock to complete the installation.
In case of installers of ver.B.b16.06 and onward, a directory called COSMOS is created after unzipping the file and the COSMOS executable file is saved in the directory. In the same way as for older installers, copy the COSMOS executable file to the Applications directory to complete the installation.
